Repport d’install de OS4Pre4
-
@Zim,

Krabob:

Those tags specify the min and max values of the slider which is shown
when ASLSM_DoHeight is TRUE. The MinDepth also acts as a filter, when I
set it to 9 I dont see any 8bit-only mode anymore. MaxDepth doesnt act
as a filter, when its set to 8 the user can still select 24bit modes,
ASL simply assumes that the RTG software (P96) is able to display 8bit
bitmaps on a 24bit screenmode.
Je suppose qu’il pensait à DoDepth.
asl.library 51.36 (15.2.2006)
– The screenmode requester now assumes that the current generation of
gfx boards only allows a single fixed depth per screenmode and that
the gfx board drivers use different screenmode IDs for different color
depths (which is not the case for OCS/ECS/AGA modes).
Screenmodes with a maximum depth > 8 are no longer displayed when
the application specified ASLSM_MaxDepth with a smaller value than the
maximum (=only!) depth of the screenmode. The comparison also assumes
that depths > 24 are faked depths which in fact result in 24 bit color
depth.
In other words, ASLSM_MaxDepth now also acts as a filter
(for gfx board screen modes only) like ASLSM_MinDepth, and the user
can no longer choose between 64K colors and 64K colors for a 16bit
screenmode when the application specified a maximum depth of 8 bit.
Thanks to Krabob and Philippe Ferrucci for the report.
